Locating the Domain (Transfer) Secret/Authorization Code for a Domain Name

Most TLDs (Domain Name Extensions) have a Domain (Transfer) Secret / Authorization Code (known as EPP Code or Unique Domain Authentication ID (UDAI) for .NZ domain names) associated with them. This serves as a password and is required to authenticate domain name Transfers.

To View your Domain Transfer Secret:

  1. Log in to the Client Area
  2. Go to Domains -> My Domains
  3. Locate the domain and click "Manage Domain" ( )
  4. Click on "Get EPP Code" from the side bar to the left.
