The Fifth Annual Conference of the Ghana Biomedical Convention (GBC) for 2012 ended with DT on the sponsorship train. The conference, themed: "Enhancing Biomedical Research Education for National Development", was held at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research; University of Ghana: College of Health Sciences; Accra. Well represented ... DT was listed as one of the sponsors of GBC 2012 following the completion of the rebranding/redesign of the GBC website . Hey, we even got to be listed on the official GBC 2012 banner... Of course we made an appearance during the conference to interact with the participants one-on-one. The GBC 2012 organizers put in all the works; we even had our own table. Awesome :) We got to interact with attendees and co-sponsors, and even managed to talk quite a few into setting up a web presence for them too. In all, it simply felt great to be part of a worthy cause; one that really caught the eye and everyone's imagination. More so, we made new friends. We did some business. Plus, we had fun. What better end to an exciting conference.
